By car:
Travelling in the highway “autostrada del
Sole” (A1) leave it at the tollbooth “Valdichiana”.
At the stop turn to the right and follow
the sign to Cortona, after a while take
the freeway SS 75bis (Siena-Perugia) in
direction of Perugia. Leave the freeway
at the second exit for Cortona (Cortona-San
Lorenzo). At the stop turn to the right
and, following the sign to Cortona, go on
for 5,7 km until you arrive at the village
of Camucia. Go through the underpass and on through the first roundabout, turn off towards Perugia and at the next roundabout take the exit for Cortona. About 1/5 mile further on at the first traffic light take a left.
Go on for 600 m and at the first stop turn
to the right following the sign to San Marco
in Villa. After 900 m you will find the
country house “I Nidi di Cortona” on your
right.
By train:
Railway line Firenze-Roma: Terontola or
Camucia station.
